July 2, 2011---black-eyed Susans

So... this morning I pulled the goldrn rain tree flower out of my little green jug and added black-eyed Susans instead. The wood poppy leaf  I cut days ago is also in this vase---still looking perky  It is SO surprising to me that a wood poppy leaf would still be alive. It proves the case that you should try everything once, because some of the things you think will be short-lived in a vase turn out to be long-lasting, and vice versa.
